If you were ever concerned about what you were going to do all day during your stay with us, you’re in for a surprise. You’ll see that there’s never a dull moment around here, and you can be as active and entertained as you choose!
Come Join The Fun
Our Activities Program is full of fun, informative, and entertaining events for everyone. Each day there are plenty of activities to not only keep you busy, but you will find it is a great place where you can go to socialize with others. Join us for ice cream socials, arts and crafts classes, current events, or a lecture series. Once you arrive, the Activities Department will discuss your interests and hobbies and assess your activity level with you and your family. Our beautician visits at least once a week. Appointments can be made by signing up on the beauty salon schedule. In addition to all of these examples, our residents are involved in choosing activities that matter most to them and we build upon those requests to provide a wide range of activities chosen by the residents themselves. We also have several unique gardens located around our campus. Each nursing unit also has its own patio and garden. There’s something for everyone!
Faith and reflection are important aspects of life at Mt. Angel Health & Rehabilitation and we seek to honor every resident’s faith preferences. We offer Catholic Mass three times a week as well as a weekly Non-Denominational Worship service and a weekly Bible Study. All residents are welcome to participate, regardless of their backgrounds or traditions.
If you want to learn something new, we’re happy to teach you, and chances are, we’ll learn something from you, too. So if you have any special skills you’d like to share with us, we would love to incorporate them into our schedule – just let us know.
